LE CASSOULET : It is the great speciality of the south west of France. It is a real meal by itself. A kind of stew made with duck confit, pork meat sausages (saucisses de Toulouse) and white haricots beans.

 

Pour the contents of the tin in a service dish (warm the tin in a water bath before if necessary). Let it slowly simmer for a while to warm up. Before serving, sprinkle with breadrumbs and let it get brown on top in the oven.
